Swim Lessons

After taking some time off, Sarah once again taking swim lessons at the YMCA. She really seems to be enjoying herself and each week repeatedly asks her Daddy when they can leave for her class. (This is a much different response than I got when trying to get her to dance class!) Swimming is usually Daddy/Daughter time, but they let me tag along last week to take some pics. :-)

Getting ready for class.

A quick pep talk before things get started.

Floating on her back! A big deal!

Kick, kick

She's finally using the bubble and can now doggy paddle anywhere! :-)

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with Steve's family which was very nice and even included a few early presents for Sarah, Grandma, and myself. A special thank you for my new camera which I'm very excited about...even if I am still trying to figure out which buttons do what. :-)

Sarah...about 10 minutes before we're supposed to leave for church.

Reading "The Night Before Christmas" with Grams & Grandpa.

Sarah's new BFF....Aunt Patty!

Reading with Grandma.

Sarah & Baby Kate's new PJs. Lookin' good girls!

Putting the food out for Santa's reindeer.

A few cookies for the Big Guy himself. :-)

Our trip to Chicago

In my effort to get Christmas & New Year's pictures out, I came across our pictures from our trip to Chicago right before the holidays. It was nice to be able to slip away for a couple of days for some quality family time and to take in the hustle and bustle of the big city during the holidays. Sarah loved the aquarium, writing her letter to Santa, and especially swimming at the hotel pool. :-)

Dance Class

It's been awhile since we posted anything and I promise to get Christmas & New Year's pictures up soon, but in the meantime, I wanted to share a couple pictures from Sarah's first dance class yesterday. Since we're new to this, they let us try both a ballet class & a tap class to see which she liked better. Needless to say, the tap class won out...I think it had something to do with the shoes. :-)

Enjoy!
