Emily at Five Months

It's hard to believe, but Emily turned 5 months old on Thursday. Thanks to the holidays, this month went really quickly but we wanted to be sure to get her latest pictures up. :-) She is growing and changing so quickly and it's amazing to watch what she can do with each passing day.

At her 4 1/2 month appointment a couple of weeks ago she weighed 13 lbs., 6 oz., and was 26 1/4" long. As our pediatrician put it, she's long and lean. :-) She easily into 6 month clothes now due more to her length than anything else.

She's still working on rolling over from her back to her belly, but she has mastered the art of putting her toes in her mouth. Changing her diaper is getting to be more and more of a challenge these days as she likes to just lay there and play with her toes. :-) She loves to be held (not necessarily a good thing when trying to get her to sleep), but for the most part she's a happy baby and loves to snuggle.

Here are a couple of recent pictures. I promise to have Christmas pictures up soon too so be sure to check back. :-)

Big Sis had to get in on the photo shoot too. :-)

Love the pictures of the girls. It is amazing how fast those five months have gone. She really is getting a personality and does have s definite appreciation of being held.

Love the pictures. Can't believe how fast she is growing. I'm glad she likes to be held because I really like to hold her, and watch her smile. She's so precious.
